The bands partnered with Downtime, the NY-based service that helps artists and bands use their "downtime" to benefit causes. "We are thrilled to launch with two bands that consistently use their platform to benefit others," said Downtime founder and music executive Jay Harren. "Anberlin and Mayday Parade - with their fans - will bring more publicity and funds to these great organizations."

Anberlin is supporting There With Care, a non-profit organization that provides services to children and families during the critical phase of a medical crisis. Mayday Parade is supporting Falling Whistles, a non-profit that works for peace in the Congo by rebuilding the war-affected communities and building a global coalition for peace. Thirty-percent of all funds from the sales of the shirts go to the charities.

Created by executives from the music, non-profit, and entertainment industries, Downtime builds innovative platforms and services for artists and band to use their back-stage, on-the-road "downtime" to benefit the causes they care about. Other participating bands include: Manchester Orchestra, We The Kings, Grouplove, Hey Monday, and Kevin Devine.
